Can I Rename or Delete a Class?
Renaming is not supported. Deleting is supported.
The subject, grade, and label you enter when creating a class cannot be edited after creation. You can, however, delete a class at any time and recreate it with the correct details.
How to delete a class:
Click “Classes” in the sidebar
Open the Classes section from the left-hand sidebar in your academy dashboard.
Open the class you want to delete
Click the class name to open its detail page.
Click the Settings icon
Look for the settings (gear) icon or the three-dot menu near the top of the class detail page and click it.
Click “Delete Class”
Select Delete Class from the menu. A confirmation prompt will appear asking you to confirm the deletion.
Confirm the deletion
Click Confirm (or Delete) in the prompt. The class is permanently removed from your dashboard.
What happens when you delete a class?
- The class is removed from your dashboard and can no longer receive new homework assignments.
- All students are unenrolled from that class. Their profiles and other class memberships are not affected.
- Homework already assigned to this class remains accessible to students who already received their magic links. Existing links are not revoked.
Tip: If you accidentally deleted a class, you can create it again — just enter the same subject and grade. You will need to re-enrol students and re-assign any homework.
