How Magic Links Work

Here is the full end-to-end process — from assigning a worksheet to a student seeing their results:

   You assign a worksheet to a class — Go to Worksheets → click the Assign button (paper-plane icon) → fill in the "Assign to Class" dialog → click "Assign & Share".

   Knowbotic generates a unique magic link for every student — Each student in the selected class gets their own personal link.

   Links are automatically sent by email — Students who have an email address on file receive their link immediately. Students without an email do not receive an automatic email — you can share their link manually.

   Student clicks their link — Their browser opens to the homework page. No account, no password, no app needed.

   Student answers each question — MCQ, True/False, or short answer questions depending on the worksheet.

   Student clicks "Submit" — All answers are sent for grading.

   Results appear instantly — The student sees their score on screen. Your dashboard updates immediately under Homework > the assignment name > the student's row.
