How Student Management Works

Knowbotic Academy uses a tutor-managed approach. Tutors create and own every student profile — students never sign up, log in, or touch the dashboard. Here is the exact flow from start to finish:

Tutor clicks "Students" in the sidebar, then "Add Student"

Enter the student's name (required) and email address (required). Optionally add a mobile number, parent name, year of birth, and class assignment. Click "Add Student" to save the profile.

Tutor assigns the student to one or more classes

Open the student's profile, click the "Classes" tab, click "Add to Class", and select the relevant class (e.g., Grade 5 Mathematics). The student now receives all homework assigned to that class.

Tutor assigns homework to the class

Go to the class page, click "Assign Homework", pick a worksheet, and confirm. Knowbotic generates a unique magic link for each student in that class automatically.

Tutor shares the magic link with the student or parent

Copy the magic link from the student's profile or the homework page and send it via WhatsApp or email. The student clicks the link and opens their homework directly in the browser — no password needed.

Results appear on the tutor dashboard in real time

Once the student submits, scores and completion status appear immediately in the student's profile and on the class homework page. No manual import or refresh needed.

Why no student accounts? Many tuition centers work with young students who share a parent's device. Removing the account requirement means students (or parents) click one link and start working immediately — no signup, no forgotten password, no friction.
