How to Assign Homework to a Class
Homework in Knowbotic Academy is assigned to an entire class at once — not to individual students. You start from a worksheet and use Assign & Share. Every student enrolled in the class automatically receives access. Follow these steps:
Click “Worksheets” in the sidebar
In your academy dashboard, click Worksheets in the left-hand sidebar to open your worksheet library.
Open the worksheet you want to assign
Click the worksheet name to open it. Only worksheets you have already generated will appear here.
Click “Assign & Share”
Press the coral Assign & Share button (with a paper-plane icon). The assignment dialog opens.
Fill in the assignment details
The dialog shows: Title (pre-filled), Class (required — select from the dropdown), Time Limit (optional), Opens At (optional), and Closes At (optional). All students currently enrolled in the selected class will receive access.
Click “Assign & Share” to confirm
Click Assign & Share to finalise the assignment. Every enrolled student automatically receives a magic link giving them access to their worksheet — no login required. The homework appears in your Homework page with a Live status.
No Student Login Required
Students access their homework through magic links sent to their email or phone. There is no login, no password, and no app download needed.
