Can I Switch Between Learner and Educator?
Switching to Educator is a one-way change. You cannot switch back to a Learner account.
What happens when you switch
Your personal learner space is replaced
Your dashboard changes from the personal learner view to the academy educator view. You will no longer see the learner sidebar.
Your academy is created automatically
A new academy is set up using your display name. You can change the name later in Settings.
You get access to educator features
Your sidebar now shows Classes, Students, Worksheets, Homework, and Settings.
Why is it one-way?
Each Knowbotic account is either a Learner or an Educator — never both. This keeps the dashboard simple and focused. Educators see teaching tools; learners see learning tools.
Tip: If you want to use Knowbotic as both a learner and an educator, create a separate account for each role.
