How to Invite a Tutor
Only Owners and Managers can invite new team members. Here are the exact steps:
- 1Click "Tutors" in the sidebar — This opens the Tutors page showing all current team members and their roles.
- 2Click "Invite Tutor" — A form slides open on the right side of the screen.
- 3Enter the person's email address — Type the email of the person you want to add to your academy.
- 4Select their role — Choose "Manager" or "Tutor" from the dropdown. See Understanding Roles if you are unsure which to pick.
- 5Click "Send Invitation" — An invitation email is sent to that address immediately.
What happens after you send the invitation:
- The invited person receives an email with a link to join your academy
- If they do not have a Knowbotic account yet, the link takes them through a quick signup first
- Once they accept, their name appears in your Tutors list with the role you selected
- Pending invitations show as "Invited" in the Tutors list until accepted
