Worksheet Credits & Pricing
Credits are the currency for AI features in Knowbotic Academy. Credits are included in your subscription plan and reset each billing cycle. Here is exactly when credits are spent and how many are used.
Generating questions — 1 credit per question
When you click Generate Worksheet, credits are deducted immediately — one for each question generated. If you generate 10 questions, 10 credits are used at that moment, regardless of whether you save or discard the worksheet.
Grading MCQ, True/False, Fill in the Blank, and Multiple Select — 1 credit per question
When a student submits their answers, auto-grading costs 1 credit per question graded. For example, if 20 students each complete a 10-question MCQ worksheet, that is 200 credits for grading.
Grading Scenario Based responses — 1 credit per student response
When a student submits a Scenario Based response, the AI evaluates it and awards marks. This costs 1 credit per response. If 20 students each answer 3 Scenario Based questions, that is 60 credits used for grading.
Credits reset each billing cycle
Your credit allowance comes with your subscription plan and renews automatically each billing cycle. Unused credits do not carry over — they reset to your plan's full allowance on your renewal date. You can see your current usage, remaining credits, and next reset date on the Billing page.
Free plan available
Knowbotic offers a free plan with a limited credit allowance each cycle — enough to try the platform and generate a handful of worksheets. Upgrade to a paid plan for a higher credit allowance.
Change your plan from Settings > Billing
To upgrade or change your subscription: click My Profile in the sidebar, then open Billing. The Billing page shows your Current Plan, Credit Usage (with a progress bar and reset date), and Credit History. Click "Change Plan" to switch tiers.
Check your balance before generating
If you do not have enough credits, the Generate Worksheet button will be disabled and a message will appear showing how many credits you need. See Billing & Credits for available plans and pricing.
