Magic Links
Do Magic Links Expire?
Magic links are tied to the status of the homework assignment. A link works as long as the assignment is Live. When the assignment becomes Closed, the link no longer accepts new submissions.
What students can do with their link while the assignment is Live:
- Open the link and complete the homework if they have not submitted yet
- Revisit the link after submitting to review their answers and score
When does a link stop accepting submissions?
Closes At date passes
The assignment automatically moves to Closed status. Magic links become inactive — students can no longer submit.
Assignment manually closed
If you close the assignment from your Homework dashboard before the Closes At date, links stop accepting submissions immediately.
