How to Create a Worksheet

Follow these steps to generate a worksheet with AI. The whole process takes under two minutes.

  1. 1

    Click "Worksheets" in the sidebar

In your academy dashboard, click the Worksheets icon or label in the left sidebar. This opens your worksheet library.

  2. 2

    Click "Generate Worksheet"

Click the coral "Generate Worksheet" button in the top-right corner of the Worksheets page. This takes you to the Create Worksheet page.

  3. 3

    Choose your input mode

The creation page has two tabs: "Prompt" (type a topic) and "Image Upload" (upload a photo of notes or a textbook page). Select the mode that suits your content.

  4. 4

    Enter a title and topic

In the Title field, give your worksheet a descriptive name (required). In the Topic field, type the specific topic — for example, "Photosynthesis in Plants" (required). You can also add optional Instructions for AI in the textarea to guide how questions are written.

  5. 5

    Set the difficulty

Choose Easy, Medium, or Hard. This controls the complexity and depth of the generated questions.

  6. 6

    Choose the number of questions

    Select 5, 10, 15, or 20 questions. Each question costs 1 credit.

  7. 7

    Select question types

Tick one or more question types: Auto (AI decides), Multiple Choice, True/False, Fill in the Blank, Scenario Based, Multiple Select. You can select any combination.

  8. 8

    Optionally assign to a class

Use the "Select Class" dropdown to pre-assign the worksheet to a class. You can skip this and assign it later from your library.

  9. 9

    Click "Generate Worksheet"

Click the coral Generate Worksheet button (with a sparkles icon). The AI creates all questions within a few seconds. A loading indicator appears while it works.

  10. 10

    Review the questions

Once generation is complete, a success message shows "Your worksheet is ready! X questions generated" with a "View & Assign" button. Click it to review, edit, and assign the worksheet.

Credits are deducted at generation

Credits are used when you click Generate Worksheet, not when you save or assign. If you generate 10 questions, 10 credits are deducted immediately. See Credits & Pricing for details.
